BRAJAÉ is the digital magazine for the woman building something of her own — a wardrobe, a business, a body of work. Fashion, culture, and everyday life, covered like they're the same conversation. Because they are.
Forty-eight pages of style, culture, and real conversation — led by our Spotlight on author and filmmaker D. Antione Dixon. Join the list and Issue 01 lands in your inbox the morning it drops.
"Two rooms taught me this — a classroom and a film set — and BRAJAÉ is what happens when I stopped keeping them separate."
I'm a two-time award-winning filmmaker and a full-time classroom teacher — two rooms most people assume have nothing to do with each other, and I've spent my whole career proving they do. Bay Area born and raised, I've called Los Angeles home for years now, and BRAJAÉ is the brand I'm building here because I actually believe in it, not because it looked good on paper.
This isn't a side project. It's the place where the fashion, the film, the classroom, and the questions I don't get to ask out loud anywhere else finally live under one name. Issue 01 is small on purpose — ten sections, one point of view, and a lot more coming. I'd rather build this in front of you than pretend it arrived finished.
Thank you for taking this journey with me. It's going to be a great one, with a lot more to come. Enjoy!

BRAJAÉ is built by a storyteller who's spent her career finding the real thing worth paying attention to — as an award-winning writer and director, and now as the founder and editor behind this magazine. The pillars above aren't a content calendar filled at random; they're the beats she already thinks in.
BRAJAÉ is written and edited by founder Ashley Brajaé, with each section carrying its own byline.
